Privacy policy

Updated October 10, 2026. Catch Vault uses account identifiers, email addresses and display names to authenticate anglers and manage tournament entries. We store submitted fishing photos, videos, measurements, declared locations, equipment evidence, entry activity, reports and prize-shipping details when provided.

Approved fish posts, display names, tournament standings and earned trophies are public. Entrance videos (reviewed if you win), equipment evidence, catch verification videos, contact details, shipping details, appeals and pending catches are available to the angler and authorized reviewers. Your device may retain sign-in sessions and guest watchlists.

Hosting and media storage use Cloudflare. Authentication uses Supabase and Apple when selected. Tournaments in this release are free to enter. No payments or subscriptions are processed. No advertising tracking or sale of personal information is part of this version.

Native entry countdowns and sign-in identifiers may be stored on your device and are cleared on sign-out. Apple authorization tokens are encrypted on our server for account-deletion revocation. Content is retained while the account is active or needed to administer the event. Request permanent deletion inside Account & Privacy. Requests are normally processed within seven days and remove the account and associated posts and media. Apple authorization is revoked when the necessary authorization token is available. A limited deletion/revocation record may remain while cleanup is pending. You may block anglers and report content in the feed.

Camera, microphone and photo-library access is requested only when you choose to submit evidence. Avoid including bystanders or personal information in public photos. You can decline optional notifications and change permissions in device settings.
