Tournament rules
Apple does not sponsor, endorse or administer Catch Vault tournaments or prizes. Each published prize tournament identifies its sponsor, eligible locations, dates, free-entry terms, prizes, cancellation terms and appeal window in its event screen. Draft events are not open for registration.
Follow local fishing rules, obtain required licenses and handle fish responsibly. Do not submit reused fish or altered evidence. Boats with live sonar installed are ineligible under the No Live Sonar rules, even when powered off. No approval is required to join. Upload an entrance video showing the current date/time, fishing place and boat/electronics if used, and speak your assigned code. Your timer starts after upload. The saved entrance video is reviewed if you win, before an award is released.
All scores require original catch and measurement photos and a verification video showing the fish, date/time and surroundings with your assigned code spoken clearly. Complete uploads must arrive by the deadline. Reviewers may reject unverifiable submissions. Appeals must be resolved before champions are finalized.
Competition ties use the earlier time the qualifying score was achieved, then the earlier submission time, then the account identifier for an exact tie. Single-fish events count the best approved fish. Bag events count up to the event fish limit. Target tournaments award one winner per seven-day round; goal races award the first three verified finishers.
